BC Centre for Elder Advocacy and Support provides assistance and support to prevent Elder Abuse and support elderly persons who have already experienced abuse.

Every weekday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., volunteers deliver more than 500 meals and social contact to homebound people including: Seniors; caregivers; individuals with chronic or acute medical conditions; individuals recovering from surgery, illness or injury; and new mothers.

Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, in collaboration with community health providers, local universities, schools, community organizations, businesses and volunteers, offers a variety of activities and workshops to seniors living on Vancouver’s Westside.
 
It is our principal objective to enhance the well-being of seniors within our community by offering programs that foster independent living with a focus on health and wellness, social interaction and education.

The Seniors Come Share Society offers a variety of programs to assist and support seniors in the local community. Their Community Support Program offers community meal programs, telephone support and reassurance from a friendly volunteer, computer training, caregiver support and education and more. Their community meal programs provide you with the opportunity to get to know other seniors in the community.
 
They also have a Caregiver Information Line which provides seniors with access to a number of resources and information on housing options, medical support, government assistance and much more.
 
They have a Day Program for older adults which offers support to help individuals and their families who need assistance to remain in the community due to a health related issue. Services include transportation, fitness assistance, health monitoring, personal care assistance, respite and dementia programming.
