Special Olympics Saskatchewan provides individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to achieve their maximum potential through training and competitive sport experiences. Athletes include people with an intellectual disability, and/or closely related developmental disabilities, from five years of age to seniors. Athletes at all ability levels participate in competitions at the community, zone, provincial, national and international levels. The organization offers over 100 sports programs throughout 40 communities in the province.
