The public health unit provides pre-natal and post-natal classes, home visiting of families with new babies, breast feeding support and well child clinics which include growth and development assessments and immunizations.

School Health: hearing and vision screening, speech assessment, immunizations, health information resources, health education classes and referrals.

The Early Childhood Intervention Program offers support to preschool children with disabilities or developmental delays, and their families. Early Childhood Intervention Workers work with children individually, in community early childhood programs or in the child’s home to help them develop to their full potential. The program is free to parents, however it is the responsibility of the parent to pay for the childcare setting if required.
