The CCAC is an organization that is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care that manages local care.  The CCAC connects individuals to home care, long-term care destinations, and other services in your community.

Special Services at Home is a provincially funded program by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. This program provides financial assistance to help families hire an independent worker to provide support to a relative who is living at home with an intellectual disability. Community Living can help families through the application and renewal process, and assist the family in advocating for services. They also keep a registry of resumes of persons who are seeking to become a Special Services at home support worker which you may access.
