The At Home Program (AHP) is intended to assist parents with some of the extraordinary costs of caring for a child with severe disabilities at home.Children may be eligible for full program benefits or for a choice of respite or medical benefits. Eligibility is regularly reassessed.

The BC Ministry of Health now has funds available to help 15 British Columbia residents each year. The funding is for up to 75% of the cost of a three-week intensive program for people who stutter and are 19 years of age or older.

Giving in Action Society is a charitable organization established by Vancouver
Foundation in 2006. The Society provides grants directly to individuals and families in BC through the Family Independence Fund and the Children and Youth with Special Needs Fund and is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency.

The Canadian Assistance Personnel Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to serving and former members of the Canadian Forces (CF) and their immediate families.
Military Family Fund
The Military Families Fund (MFF) is an agile and responsive means for Base and Wing Commanders, in concert with Military Family Resource Centers (MFRC) across the country, to help military families within hours of being advised of need. It will help with short-term emergencies and also provide long-term support. The MFF allows CF leadership to meet the special-case needs of CF members and their families with speed and flexibility not always available through the traditional programs.
