CCAC school services are provided to children/youth with special needs in publicly funded and private schools and to children/youth who are being home schooled to assist them in pursuing their education.

The program is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of school-aged students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by providing education and support to school board staff in the North-East region of Ontario.

The Ontario Ministry of Education Special education programs and services mainly consist of instruction and assessments that are different from those provided to the typical student population. These may take the form of accommodations (such as specific teaching strategies, preferential seating, and assistive technology) and/or an educational program that is modified.
