The Ontario Ministry of Education Special education programs and services mainly consist of instruction and assessments that are different from those provided to the typical student population. These may take the form of accommodations (such as specific teaching strategies, preferential seating, and assistive technology) and/or an educational program that is modified.

Go to their website in the Program & Services tab then to Special Education to find out about the variety of programs and services offered.  Some of these services include the District's Special Education Plan, a Parent's Guide to Special Education and information on Individual Education Plans.
