The Community Support Advocacy Program is available to individuals with cognitive delays acquired during his/her formative years of development. Services include emotional support to help empower individuals and their families to advocate on their own behalf; accessing and coordinating community services; locating suitable accommodations; accessing funding; and providing money management skills or trusteeship. Services are also offered in French.

The Member Assistance Program (MAP) is a voluntary and confidential service for Canadian Forces (CF) to help members (Regular Force, all Reserve Class Members, Cadets) and family members. MAP provides a short-term problem solving service for persons who have parenting or family concerns, interpersonal relations, personal and emotional, stress, anxiety, sexual assault and addiction concerns.

North Bay MFRC - Prevention Support and Intervention
This is a confidential service offered to CF Members and their families. We have very strict policies regarding confidentiality. Any information shared with the Prevention, Support and Intervention Coordinator will remain strictly among staff at the Military Family Resource Centre and this is on a “need to know basis”. The military chain of command would only be involved with the client’s request and written permission.
We are able to assist our families by providing the following:
- Education and Prevention
- Short-Term Intervention and Crisis Support
- Assessment and Referral
Some areas of difficulty may be the following: Stress, Anxiety, Marital difficulties, Financial difficulties, Difficulties with children, Conflict at work, Feelings of depression, Fatigue, Low self-esteem, Feelings of loss, Loneliness, isolated, and Addiction
