The Member Assistance Program is a voluntary and confidential service, initiated by the Canadian Forces (CF) to help members (Regular Force, all Reserve Class Members, Cadets) and family members who have personal concerns that affect their personal well-being and/or work performance.

The Prevention and Intervention Program is a bilingual program that extends to the CF members and their families 18 years of age and older. The Program offers a range of preventive activities, support services and referrals that are designed to enhance the family’s social functioning and emotional well being as well as directly support those who have been affected by individual or community crisis situation. The Program is intended to be short term and solution focused.
Assistance can be provided for a variety of issues such as relationships, parenting, and deployments. This service is confidential and free of cost.
