The Child Care Inclusion Support Program funds child care settings such as day care centres, nursery schools, family and group child care homes in order to reduce or eliminate barriers for children with support needs and allow the child to fully participate in an early learning and child care program.
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority - Respite
The Respite Program arranges for dependent individuals, who require 24-hour care, to be admitted to a personal care home in order to provide a planned period of relief to families.
Respite is available for varied lengths of time, with the normal stay being two weeks. Home Care Coordinators can assist families and individuals in accessing the Respite Program. Each respite client pays a standard subsidized daily fee.
