Thursday’s Child Nursery School (TCNS) is a licensed center-based program that operates eleven months of the year for nine children aged two to five whose diagnosis is within the Autism Spectrum. TCNS is managed by Children’s Integration Support Services, a program of Andrew Fleck Child Care Services.

Spectrum Intervention Group is a licensed non profit child care centre which provides individualized programming using ABA principles and procedures, to children aged 2-18 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, in order to increase their cognitive, language and social abilities in the home, school and community. Spectrum Intervention Group provides individualized programs based on each child's needs and works in collaboration with a variety of other professionals (including Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists and psychologists) on a case by case basis. Spectrum also provides consultative services to the city of Ottawa and outlying areas.

Charlemange Child Care Services’ Nursery school is operated by the Ottawa Catholic Care Corporation. The nursery school offers drop in groups and a toy library. Training workshops for parents and caregivers are also available. Charlemange Child Care is a not-for-profit community based program and is recommended by parents on the Ottawa autism support list.

Easter Seals Ontario offers two camps for those with special needs. Camp Merrywood is a camp for children with physical disabilities ages 8 to 19; they offer 1 or 2 week sessions.  Easter Seals also offers a family camp for children under 10 with physical disabilities and their families; 1 week sessions.
