The Canadian Mental Health Association, Newfoundland and Labrador Division (CMHA-NL), is a voluntary, non-profit, charitable organization established in 1964 to promote a better understanding of mental health and mental illness in the province. As a division of the national Canadian Mental Health Association, our mission is to promote the mental health of all our citizens, and to support the resilience and recovery of people and families living with the realities of mental illness.
Since CMHA-NL does not maintain 24-hour access to e-mail accounts, email is not an appropriate medium for urgent or emergency messages. If you are feeling suicidal or are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the Mental Health Crisis Line at 737- 4668 (in the St. John’s area) or 1-888-737-4668 (toll free).
