Gander has Base Social Workers on hand to deal with the challenges military members and their families face after an operational injury. Contact the Base Social Worker via phone for further information and assistance. The Mental Health Clinic is an intergrated team of civilian and military professionals, which include Social Workers, Chaplains, Education Coordinators, Addiction Counsellors, Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist and Psychiatrist. If you are facing some difficulties, they are there to help you get a better understanding of your concerns and to develop with you the skills/strategies for overcoming and dealing with the situation. At the Mental Health Clinic, staff do a quick intake assessment to determine your needs. This initial consultation attempts to answer all the individuals questions related to their services, including issues such as confidentiality and appointment booking.
