Keeping Your Family Information Together
If your family has special needs and responsibilities, you likely have a number of different professionals and community agencies that impact your life. Most come with medical reports, assessments and school information. Having that information current, organized and available is key to your family’s ability to advocate for itself.
There are a number of professional family organization systems available through your local bookstore or online. One Canadian resource that we have found is available for purchase.
However, there are a number of options if you want to do it for yourself. Grab yourself a binder and some dividers. We have included ideas of some things you may want to put in a binder. You don’t have to do it all at once. Start with one section and build from there. Personalize your binder and make sure it makes sense for you.
We have also included a number of forms that might help you to keep track of specific details that can be included in your binder.
