Weekly Back to School Guide for Children with ADHD
Additude magazine has produced a weekly journal for ADHD students going back to school. Each week contains steps to promote awareness in the school, essential programs and creating a consistent train of thought. The student that has ADHD may find it difficult to concentrate or have visual and reading comprehension problems, these weekly journals assist with tasks that need to be met in the school and classroom. This article engages in steps and suggestions, such as dealing with medications, encouraging note taking, improve writing skills and much more. There are also several hints offered, such as students using sticky notes and teaching them to use their creative minds in structured ways.
