Resource for Mental Health Illness in Halifax
The Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University has developed a online information resource for those who are dealing with a mental health concern that lists services available in the city and surrounding areas.
The One in Five website contains a list of resources available in the local community that offer help and support with mental illness such as compulsive disorders, concurrent disorders, suicide, mood disorders, anxiety, dementia and more. Senior Come Share Society - Vancouver
The Seniors Come Share Society offers a variety of programs to assist and support seniors in the local community. Their Community Support Program offers community meal programs, telephone support and reassurance from a friendly volunteer, computer training, caregiver support and education and more. Their community meal programs provide you with the opportunity to get to know other seniors in the community.
They also have a Caregiver Information Line which provides you with access to a number of resources and information on housing options, medical support, government assistance and much more.
