The Dependant Education Management program manages the education compensation and benefits programs for Department of National Defence members to ensure that their dependent children obtain elementary and secondary education. Some of the compensations or benefits may include private tutoring within the first year of a relocation to bring a child up to grade level, school fees if a dependant child is in their grad 11 or 12 year, private language tutoring and much more. Grants for Students with Permanent Disabilities
The Canada Study Grant for the Accommodation of Students with Permanent Disabilities loan is to help pay for exceptional education-related costs associated with your disability. These costs may include tutors, oral or sign interpreters, attendant care for studies, specialized transportation (to and from school only), note takers, readers and braillers.
